Membership Information

Sussex County ARES looking for amateur radio operators who want to assist their community in times of need. "When All Else Fails"

Every licensed amateur, regardless of membership in the ARRL or any other local or national organization is eligible to apply for membership in ARES. Training will be required to fully work in ARES as our served agencies require different skill sets. Because ARES is an Amateur Radio program, only licensed radio amateurs are eligible for membership.

You can read more about the National ARES program by visiting the American Radio Relay League's ARES website. For some quick facts about ARES view the ARRL ARES Fact Sheet.

Download our Membership Application. Once completed forward it via email to the Sussex County ARES Emergency Coordinator or bring it to one of our meetings.

Want to be placed on the Sussex ARES Email list? Send an email to the Emegency Coordinator with your name, callsign and where you live.
